Speakers

Read below to meet our wonderful team of speakers:

Lynn Donovan

As an author and speaker, Lynn passes around some laughter, once in a while a tissue, and always, powerful truths from God’s Word. Her passion is to encourage women to thrive in marriage and motherhood. Through a few wacky, yet meaningful stories, she challenges her audience to discover truths and triumphs that lead to abundant living. She invites women to share a front row seat and watch as God reveals that a women’s journey is destined for joy, purpose, and fulfillment through the transforming power of Jesus Christ.

She is the founder of spirituallyunequalmarriage.com and the co-author of the book/Bible Study, Winning Him Without Words. Lynn serves on the Women’s Ministry staff and leads Bible study at her local church.

Married since 1992 to her best friend, Mike, she lives in Temecula, California. They have a son, a daughter and a zany dog named Peanut. She loves to laugh out loud, play Fantasy Football, and enjoy a strong cup of coffee, not necessarily in that order.

She lives each day in awe of God’s grace in the lives of ordinary women.

Joy McMillan

Joy McMillan is the love-struck bride to her best friend, proud mommy to their two wildly wonderful kids, and is, quite frankly, a recovering control-freak. Originally hailing from Southern Africa, she now makes her home in central Michigan. She likes to pretend she’s a professional designer and budding writer when she’s not changing diapers, clipping little toenails or sweeping up cheerios {for the 37th time in one day}, occasionally wears knee-high boots around the house, and drinks entirely too much tea while she’s at it. Between her desire to see women find freedom and discover their true identity, and her passion for seeing marriages thrive, she now finds herself navigating the {often overwhelming} waters of motherhood…and is determined to bloom where she’s planted, poop and all. She also happens to be fond of run-on sentences and speaking about herself in the third person. She blogs about her deliciously messy life at Simply Bloom {the blog}.

Joy will be leading a session titled Rediscovering Red Hot Monogamy, as well as sitting on a Q&A Panel.

Amy is the author of Psalms for the Grieving Heart, a 30 day devotional ebook for those who grieve. It is her deepest desire that out of the overflow of her heart, her mouth should speak…and her fingers type.
